Tempe Chamber of Commerce Presents Morrison-Maierle with a
2009 Business Excellence Award
At the 12th Annual Breakfast for Chamber Champions on February 17, Morrison-Maierle, Inc. received a 2009 Business Excellence Award. The awards honor a demonstrated record of business success and growth, community involvement and leadership, dedication to employees, and commitment to customer service.

elden, P.E., L.S., Morrison-Maierle’s Southwest Regional Director, attended the awards ceremony and commented, “This is a great honor for Morrison-Maierle and for all the Tempe office employees. As we live out Morrison-Maierle’s mission ‘To provide resources in partnership with our clients to achieve their goals’ within the Tempe community we will continue to honor the values of excellence embodied by this award.”
This is the second year that Morrison-Maierle was selected as a finalist for the Tempe Chamber of Commerce’s Business Excellence Awards. From seven finalists, Morrison-Maierle and Telesphere were chosen as the award recipients. “The Business Excellence Awards were established to recognize outstanding businesses in our community,” said Mary Ann Miller, President/CEO of the Tempe Chamber. “Both Morrison-Maierle and Telesphere exemplify the qualities and characteristics that the awards were designed to honor. We are proud to celebrate their continued success.”
Founded in 1945 in Helena, Montana, Morrison-Maierle opened its Arizona operations in 1986 with five employees and has grown to approximately 40 professionals. An Engineering News-Record “Top 500 Design Firm” for 17 consecutive years, Morrison-Maierle offers engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental services throughout the western United States. Some of the Arizona clients Morrison-Maierle has served include the City of Tempe, Arizona State University, City of Scottsdale, Arizona Department of Transportation, Salt River Project, KB Homes, and Arizona Public Service.
