Deborah Johnston Promoted to Missoula Office Manager
Deborah Johnston, P.E., has been named to succeed Keith Belden, P.E., L.S., as the firm’s Missoula Office Manager responsible for all aspects of project
delivery and business management. A registered Professional Engineer in
Montana, Idaho an
d Washington, Debbie has over 14 years of experience in a broad range of engineering and construction projects. She is a Senior Project Manager and a Supervising Engineer and her experience includes all phases of engineering
projects including planning, preliminary design, final design, construction and construction management. She received a bachelor of science degree in Civil
Engineering in 1994 from Gonzaga University and has completed post-graduate studies in water resource management at the University of Idaho.
Debbie joined Morrison-Maierle in 2002 as a Project Engineer and Manager
specializing in municipal and land development projects, environmental and
hazardous waste, storm water, hydrology and hydraulics. She has experience in the planning, design, and management of engineering and environmental projects for public and private clients at domestic and international sites, including eight years as Project Manager with the Washington Group International before joining
Morrison-Maierle.
Debbie serves on Morrison-Maierle’s Systematic Project Delivery team, where she is the Study/Design Services Team Leader. She is a Board Certified Safety Trained
Supervisor. Debbie is an active member of Missoula’s Water Quality Advisory
Council, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Water Environment Federation and the Society of American Military Engineers.
