K.C. Hill Joins MMI as CFO-Elect

K.C. Hill, CPA, has joined Morrison-Maierle, Inc. and will succeed Larry Bickell as MMI’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2008. Larry Bickell, who has been with MMI since 1977 and CFO since 1997, will retire in December 2007, at which time K.C. will assume overall responsibility for Morrison-Maierle’s financial operations. As CFO, K.C. will be responsible for the firm’s accounting practices and financial planning, and for maintaining relationships with the financial community.

K.C. comes to Morrison-Maierle, Inc. most recently from Galusha, Higgins & Galusha, P.C. A native Montanan, K.C. grew up in Helena and is excited to be working for Montana’s oldest and largest engineering firm. He holds an MBA from the University of Montana and a bachelor’s degree in Business Accounting from Montana State University. K.C. worked for AAA MountainWest for 12 years directing AAA’s financial planning and accounting practices. He also coordinated the firm’s acquisition activities, including a division acquisition which increased the firm’s size by 40 percent. During his time at AAA, K.C. served as an Executive Vice President; Chief Operating Officer; Chief Financial Officer; and Vice President, Business Development and Marketing. K.C. also worked for KPMG Peat Marwick in Billings as a Senior Audit Manager for eight years. K.C. is very active in the community as a member of the Helena Area Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors and the Montana History Foundation’s Board of Directors. He is a graduate of the Leadership Helena Program through the Chamber of Commerce.

With his 20 years of experience in corporate financial management and knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, internal control design, and budgeting, K.C. will be an integral part of Morrison-Maierle’s management team.
