Morrison-Maierle Named One of the Best Firms to Work for in U.S.

Morrison-Maierle, Inc., with headquarters in Helena, Montana, was recently ranked as one of the nation’s “Top 25 Best Civil Engineering Firms To Work For” by CE News magazine.  This is the first year that Morrison-Maierle competed in this prestigious survey of firms of all sizes across the country. 

On September 18, 2008, CE News magazine presented Morrison-Maierle with the “Best Civil Engineering Firms To Work For” award for being an industry leader in “providing employees with an outstanding work environment.”  MMI placed 13th in the overall Civil Engineering category and 4th in the mid-size company ranking among the other firms who applied for the nationwide 2008 survey!  A mid-size company is one with between 101 and 400 employees.

CE News has conducted this survey for eight years.  The competing firms are rated by their own employees and also by a panel of judges who rate each firm’s ability to provide a well-balanced, supportive professional working environment that fosters the success of the individual and the business.

CE News’ “Best Civil Engineering Firm To Work For” Contest is one of the most meaningful rankings in the engineering consulting industry.  The 2008 selection process required both a Corporate Survey and an Employee Satisfaction Survey which were graded and weighed equally by a panel of experts.  Grading criteria included corporate culture, benefits, compensation, professional development, performance/recognition, and recruiting/retention.  The ranking reflects all MMI offices including those in Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, as well as Montana.
