Senior Water Resources Engineer (WRES-SEN-1)
Qualifications: P.E. required. B.S. or M.S. Degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field. 10-15 years experience preferred. Desired capabilities include Microsoft Excel, HEC-1, HEC-RAS, SWMM, and GIS ArcView
The position requires strong knowledge of hydrologic/hydraulic engineering principles in support of highway drainage design, storm drainage, floodplain mapping, small dam design and irrigation. Position will assist or lead DOE a water resources team in project execution, model development, interpretation of results, preparation of reports, cost estimates, and preliminary and final construction plans.
