| Senior Municipal Engineer (SME-1) | |||||||||||||||||||
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in large, multi-discipline, water and wastewater municipal and industrial projects, including, wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, pipelines, and other public works & institutional projects. This position will provide a rewarding opportunity for a person driven to exceed client and firm expectations in the areas of: Managing budgets, schedules and deliverables; Undertaking the technical work associated with municipal and water/wastewater design; Leading business development pursuits; Leading, managing and mentoring junior engineers; Participating in management team decisions; Active participation in relevant professional associations; and showcasing talent by providing creative solutions for challenging municipal design problems. Candidates must be professionally registered and have significant experience in the state of Arizona. The potential is great for personal, professional and career track growth, leading and growing our Municipal and Water and Wastewater practice in the Phoenix and Arizona markets. Position highlights include: Establishing relationships with new and existing clients and securing profitable new work; assuming managerial responsibility for all aspects of projects including contracting, negotiating, cost control, staffing, project delivery, and quality control; being rewarded as a practice builder growing new markets; managing multiple projects simultaneously, as well as having success in effectively managing personnel, budgets, and clients; growing junior staff through mentorship and leadership. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 10 years of experience. Arizona Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
