ROBERT J. MORRISON, PE

President and CEO

A third-generation leader at Morrison-Maierle, Robert “Bob” Morrison continues to grow the company his grandfather began in 1945.  He joined the firm in 1991 and was named President and CEO in 2006 after serving as Great Falls Office Manager, Chief Engineer, and Vice President.  His technical specializations are in major treatment facility design, water and wastewater system evaluations, sludge management systems, pump stations, pipeline and open channel hydraulics and interdisciplinary project management.

Community is important to Bob, and he gives back through his engineering work at Morrison-Maierle, but also as a member of the Helena YMCA Board of Directors and Helena Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.  He is a member of the American Water Works Association, the Water Environment Federation, and the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). Currently, Bob is President-Elect for ACEC-Montana.  When not at work, Bob and his wife Kathy can be found cheering on his alma mater’s football team, the Montana State University Bobcats.

JAMES A. MAIERLE

Chairman of the Board

James “Jim” Maierle has been an integral part of the management team at Morrison-Maierle for over 40 years. During this time, the company has experienced expansions and contractions but remains on solid footing to continue the growth and legacy of the firm into the future by continuing to rely on the company’s core values of integrity, commitment, respect and excellence. Jim has held positions of Chief Financial Officer, President, and currently Chairman of the Board. Jim was the founder and President of the firm’s computer services subsidiary Morrison-Maierle Systems Corp.

Jim serves on the Board of Directors for American Federal Savings Bank, Past Chair of the Helena Area Chamber of Commerce Board and Executive Board, former member of Gateway Economic Development Board, and past member of Carroll College President’s Council, and Carroll College Investment Committee. Jim has been a member of the Montana Ambassadors for over 15 years. Previously he was a member of the Finance Council, Diocese of Helena; Board of Trustees, Shodair Children’s Hospital; and, Board of Trustees, Montana Children’s Foundation.

Outside the office Jim can be found riding his Harley, golfing at Green Meadow, skiing at Big Sky and boating at the Gates of the Mountains with family and friends. Jim and his wife Lynne continue to enjoy Arizona winters after helping establish the Phoenix office. Jim and Lynne love spending time with their family, especially their five grandchildren.
